Description

LGST 600: Major Legislative Drafting Project, is the final course that students take in their program and is designed to facilitate extended preparation work and original legislative drafting under the supervision of a program instructor. The scope of the project is the production of a complete bill suitable for consideration by lawmakers.

This Drafting Project allows students to work with law reform recommendations or other independent instructions for legislation or to work on a project in their current employment. The project involves analysis and dialogue, and results in the production of an effective legislative plan and a new piece of legislation.
